What is included in the price of New Memorials?

The Memorial, as shown in the brochure.
ALL Inscription- No Matter How Many Words You Have.
All fixings and fittings. (Ground Anchor/Dowels/Flower Containers).
Foundation (if required)
Placing in Cemetery or Churchyard

What is NOT included?

Cemetery or Church Fee (although you will be informed of how much this is before placing an order)
Extras (for example - photoplaques)

How Can Pollard Memorials include All Letters?

Most lettering, these days, is done by sandblasting the head stone. This is much quicker than the traditional 'Hand Carving' and therefore the cost of the whole inscription can be included.

Do I have to come to your showroom?

No, we can do everything by post or email (we've had clients from America and Australia), but if you can come to the showroom it's better for you to be able to see the materials, sizes and letter colours that are available.

How long does a memorial take after I've placed the order?

It depends on what is ordered. If we have the stone in stock it can take as little as 2 weeks. If we have to order a Bespoke Design it can take up to 14 weeks. It can also depend on how long it takes approval from the Cemetery or Churchyard. An average is around 12 weeks from placing the order to having the stone in place in the Cemetery or Churchyard.

How long do I need to wait before ordering a Headstone?

You can order a stone at any time after the funeral. Although people are often told to wait 6 months, this can be frustrating if you wait 6 months to place an order, then have to wait 3 more months for the stone to be made. If you want the stone as soon as possible, then order early.

Ground settlement for the grave is :

Normal Burial Plot (Headstone) approximately 6 months
Burial plot where the council have a concrete landing No Waiting Time
Kerb Surround approximately 12 months
Cremation Plot - No Waiting Time

Do you require a Deposit/ Full Payment?

We expect a deposit of around 50% within a couple of weeks of placing the order. The rest is not payable until you have seen the finished Memorial in place and you are completely satisfied.

What is your Guarantee?

We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. You won't get stuck with a Memorial that you don't like.

If, for whatever reason, you're not happy with the finished memorial, (but we're sure that you will be!) we will do everything in our power to please you. We really will go that extra mile, even if this means replacing the headstone with a new one.

BUT: If you're still not totally certain that you got the memorial that you really wanted, then we'll take the headstone, tablet, desk or kerbset away and you can get a Full Refund."
